Skype allows you to block certain users from being able to contact you. Once you have blocked a user, that person will be unable to initiate a voice or video call with you, send you text messages, or see your current status. How to Block Someone on Skype for Windows
Follow the steps below to block a Skype user in the Windows application.
Step 1: Launch the Skype application on your PC.
Step 2: Go to the “Contacts” tab on the left side of the window. Alternatively, you can go to the “Recent” tab to see users who have contacted you recently on Skype.
Step 3: Right-click on the name of the user whom you want to block, and choose the “Block This Person” option.
Step 4: Check the box next to “Remove from your Contact list” in the pop-up window that appears.

How to Block Someone on Skype for Mac OS X
These steps detail how to block a Skype user in the Mac OS X application.
Step 1: Open the Skype program on your Mac computer, and sign into your account.

Step 4: Right-click on the user that you want to block, and select the “Block” option.

Follow the steps below to block a Skype user when using a smartphone or tablet application.
Step 1: Launch the Skype application on your smartphone or tablet.
Step 2: Tap on the “Chats” tab at the top of the screen.
Step 3: Find the user that you want to block, and then tap and hold on the person’s name.
Step 4: Choose the “Block” option from the menu that appears.
Step 5: Tap “Block” in the confirmation box.
