How to Delete Instagram Accounts [On Your Computer]
Step 1: Go to Instagram.
Step 2: Login to your account with your credentials.
Step 3: Select the person Icon on the far right to view your profile.
Step 4: Scroll to the bottom of the page and select the “Support,” link.
Step 5: On the left hand side of the page select the “Managing Your Account,” link.
Step 6: On the left hand side of the page select the “Delete Your Account,” link.
Step 7: Select the drop down for “How Do I Delete My Account?”
Step 8: Follow the link provided titled “The Delete Your Account Page.”
Step 9: Select the reason for you deleting your account in the drop down.
Step 10: Re-enter your password in the space provided.
Step 11: Select “Permanently Delete My Account.”
How to Delete Instagram Accounts [On Your Mobile Phone]
Step 1: Open your Instagram phone application.
Step 2: If you are not automatically logged in, login to your account with your credentials.
Step 3: Select the person Icon on the bottom far right of the screen to view your profile.
Step 4: Select the top right (three dots) Icon for “Options.”
Step 5: Scroll down to the section titled “Support.”
Step 6: Select the link to the “Instagram Help Center,” this will re-direct you to the mobile website.
Step 7: Follow Steps 5 through 8 on the computer version
Step 8: Re-login into your account.
Step 9: Follow Steps 9 through 11 on the computer version.
