Apple accounts can open the door to an incredibly wide range of possibilities, apps, and more. But in today’s digital world, we have dozens and dozens of passwords. This guide is here to show you what to do if you forgot Apple ID Password associated with your Apple iTunes account.
Forgot Apple ID Password Steps
To begin, go to iCloud.com from any internet enabled device. That device does not even have to be an Apple device!
In the center of the page, below the white boxes that allow you to sign in, there is a button that says “Forgot Apple ID or Password?” Click here.
From there, you can input the email address associated with you Apple ID, to have a recovery email sent to your email address. This will enable you to create a new password.
If, however, you do not remember the email associated with your Apple ID, fear not! Simply click on the button saying “Forgot Apple ID?”
The subsequent screen will prompt you to input your first name, last name, and email address, which will allow you to recover your Apple ID. From there, you can follow the above steps to create a new password.
This entire process is very user-friendly and painless. Apple makes the process as streamlined and efficient as possible, which makes your experience very easy and hassle-free!
All you have to do is click “Forgot Apple ID or Password,?” and go through one or two painless steps. You are all set and ready to get back to work, play, or maybe a little bit of both.
If, however, you do need some assistance with this process, go to Apple’s Support Website for Apple ID’s or call 1-800-275-2273. If you want to check the warranty of your device, see our post on how to perform an Apple warranty check.
